FINNEGANS WAKE Chapter 1 is out!

Finnegans Wake, Chapter 1” is now available for free viewing globally on One Little Goat Theatre Company’s website and YouTube (86 min., 4K High Definition)!

Produced in association with the James Joyce Centre in Dublin, this marks the first of 17 chapters in James Joyce’s delirious comedy Finnegans Wake (1939), as brought to life by the virtuosic performances of Irish-Canadian actor Richard Harte. The film also includes Irish-Canadian singer Kevin Kennedy’s superb rendition of the “Finnegan’s Wake” folk song that inspired Joyce’s title. Directed by Adam Seelig and filmed before live audiences, this multi-year project marks the first ‘audio-video book’ of the Wake and is a valuable resource for both new and seasoned readers of Joyce’s extraordinary final work.

Finnegans Wake, Chapter 1” premiered at the Toronto Irish Film Festival, European Union Film Festival, and Bloomsday Film Festival.
