Join us 2-4pm Saturday 4 May when the James Joyce Association of Ottawa screens excerpts from One Little Goat’s films, Finnegans Wake, Chapters 1 & 2 at the National Irish Canadian Cultural Centre, St. Brigid’s Centre for the Arts (310 Saint Patrick St, Ottawa) in celebration of the Wake’s 85th anniversary. The event will include live music and a reading by Irish-Canadian actor Richard Harte, Ireland’s Ambassador to Canada Dr. Eamonn McKee, former Executive Director of The Ireland Fund of Canada Paul Farrelly, One Little Goat Artistic Director Adam Seelig, plus a new short film ("FW85") produced by Joyceborough's Des Gunning featuring the Wakean paintings of Irish artist Carol Wade.
